A guy named Lamont won the singles after the shoot offs were completed.

As far as the handicap event? You will probably have to wait on that answer.

I think they are shooting that event TODAY

Winners are all posted on the ATA website. Two of the top three GAH shooters are from NJ. Must be something in the water. The winner from Brick and third from Somerville. Yea New Jersey.

That is less than 360 squads in the GAHandicap, I remember over 900 squads at Vandalia, If memory is correct

Not even close. The record was 5,000 shooters in 1999 at Vandalia!

Thanks Olliedawg, but that wsa the last shoot at Vandalia, I was speaking of the shoots at Vandalia in the1960s, 1970s and 80s, when there was real competition, and there was a lot less corruption and there were men of Honor, and Integrity. The Neil Winston Era was the 2nd worst, the real worst is the Era now operating the ATA.

It is full of Graft and seeing what they can steal from the Coffers of OUR ORGANIZATION, which was founded by REAL MEN, and they listened to the Membership.

We had one of the RICHEST men who offered Land and a 99 Year lease near London Ohio on a Major East, West Highway, Fairly close to Hotels, Motels and Major Airlines, and Interstate Hi-way System, But the VERY POOR LEADERSHIP IN THE NEIL WINSTON, TOM ACKLIN ERA DECLINED HIM.

Please keep in mind the weather @ Sparta was not good yesterday. Local stations were forecasting thunder all day, and many packed up and left on Friday. Including all the tent vendors.

From the looks of those scores by some of the top shooters in the world, weather must have been pretty tough...
