Using a Proxy Server - - You wont get confirmation.

    The security system(s) are set to protect the users of the forum and the forum itself. If you are using a proxy server or ip masking service you will not get membership confirmation. As of today we do not have anyone that is banned, subject to change of course.

    There is no need for a proxy.

    Not sure you guys should do this. You have some poor misguided Kool Aid drinkers who don't want to reveal their identities for different reasons. You know Sparta is home to many SOs which means you probably got your cross dressers and illiterate buffoons along with transgender school teachers and such. I mean you guys should.......hold on....... Wait a minute..... OK I understand..... Carry on.

    Seitz....the ip address will not tell us what miscreants are registering. Doesn't even give us identity. It protects the gun owners from bad folks in the outside word. The owner of the proxy server becomes the owner of the information both private and non private. We have a dont tell policy.

    If you are using a proxy server and you get a message saying the ip address is banned don't take it personally. The security system does not distinguish between nice guys, bad guys, and someone that uses a proxy server. The security systems do not consider a posters name. It exists to protect the other users. The mods do not get a message saying a person has not been permitted to log in due to security alerts.

    You may get this alert and not be banned. If the system has made an error please alert a mod.
