    I wonder how many people were complaining about not finding shotgun shells in 1944.

    My dad told me that during the war my grandfather was allowed to buy 10 shot shells a year. It was because he was a farmer.

    My daddy said he could not get shells, but knew an
    influential man who could. Daddy had a good bird dog,

    My dad won the Junior trophy in '42 and '43. I have the Ithaca 5E he was shooting then.
