Trap & Field changes it mind

    It looks like someone did some thinking about the $50.00 fee for posting an obituary.

    Several years ago that rag doubled the number of shooters at the grand. It was this forum that caught them. They were forced to print a retraction. Now this.

    It looks to me like the fee has not been removed.
    The notice on the ATA website just provides a clarification as to when and what for the fee will be charged. "If there is help needed for research for shooting accomplishments, there is a fee for the research."
    Seems to me Trap and Field will still now be charging for a service they have provided for free until now.

    IMHO i see no big deal in the charges. Nobody owe you a free obituary.

    The Obits are free here. No charge. Certainly more exposure but I didnt give this forum tens of thousands of dollars.
