I have PW 800 Plus and Hornady 366 reloading presses. Mr. Skeel sells replacement shot/powder reservoirs in glass, polycarbonate and acrylic. I know the glass won't get stained but, I am concerned they would be fragile. I guessing the polycarbonate reservoirs would be strong. And, I suspect the acrylic will get brittle with age. Which do you recommend and why.
Personally I'd avoid the glass just as you said. Other than that ....................... JMO of course
I purchased the glass tube and plate for my 800 plus and it’s a great improvement and after thousands of reloads no issues.
I have sold about 100 pyrex tubes, both powder and shot and the only one that I know that broke was the one I dropped in the shop during assy'
Don't want it to stain? Don't leave the powder in it ...… powder is the main culprit rather than shot.
