What Illinois anti gun Dick Durbin said.....

    WASHINGTON - In an effort to demand the U.S. Senate take up gun control proposals, Illinois' senior U.S. Senator Dick Durbin joined a filibuster at 12:45 am on June 17, 2016.

    Durbin said using semi-automatic guns are being used in "a new wave of terrorism," and condemned Illinois' gun shows where customers pick up similar weapons "with no background checks." The senator did not state that no one may legally purchase a firearm without a FOID card, which is distributed only after a background check.

    In his soliloquy, Durbin urged the U.S. Senate to vote on legislation to set up new guidelines for gun purchases - especially in Illinois.

    Illinois Sen Dick Durbin was specific about his hatred for semi-auto guns. He did not say full auto.

    Politics as usual in the State of Illinois ... They change, alter, or modify rules , laws at will , then change them back again with as many or more restrictions ... Down staters (southern Illinois) all claim its only in the city of Chicago or Cook County and that is not close to right or accurate by any means ... The Politicos from Southern Illinois want to be recognized by the politicians in Cook County and do as they are told when the time comes to vote on major issues or reforms ... The democratic organization has a hold on the State like the EC has a hold on the ATA and that is not going to change anytime soon ... Corruption at its best, that also is not going to change any time soon ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

    Funny they want to ban a weapon that really don't kill that many people and leave the ones that do or is it just a start at banning all guns. Oh yes a death of any kind by any weapon is unacceptable.
