President Herman then called for any Old Business to come before the Executive Committee. A discussion was initiated by President Herman concerning the proposal of the Cardinal Center to host future Grand Americans. Secretary Galloway informed the Executive Committee that the current lease with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for future Grand Americans does not expire until 2026. It was the unanimous decision of the Executive Committee to decline the Cardinal Center proposal because of the ATA’s current lease. Executive Director Gipson will send the Cardinal Center a letter informing them of the Executive Committee’s decision. Hang in there 6 more years Brad You may still yet see the Grand in Ohio again!!!!!! EC meeting December 2019
News from December 2019? Thanks for the update The “grand” would draw just as many entries because all the shooters from states closer to ILLnews would make up the difference After, what was it 13 years, gipson said they were moving in a Fantastic Direction and the 14th year it still sucked The SCTP would NEVER leave And they best “for sure” thing? This site wouldn’t last 30 days I hope they keep the “grand” at that outpost for the next 50 years. The politicians in ILLnews probably have the place right at the top of their Priority List. No matter how broke they are that should be the number one thing they have to deal with. Keep those updates coming
The State of Illinois may have a few surprises coming their way here shortly ...Between the Governor not making plans to re open the State (phase III) and Mayor of the City of Chicago giving orders to tow cars from church parking lots there may be riots like they have never seen ... The public shooting ranges have obviously been re opened (24/7) by the driver by shooters so it would be any body's guess what can happen next in the State full of surprises ... The Governor did say all outside shooting ranges (public streets) can re open as soon as May 29, 2020 so be careful out there ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
Actually the lease is ended as soon as either party gives 180 days notice or if govt legislation interferes. I see Galloway again. Hmmmm. Wasn’t he the person that failed to correct the 2012Pull notes in the minutes?
An Illinois lease until 2026, Galloway, Herman and the boys must be really happy that they blew off Jack and the CC leaders that flew to Sparta last year (against my advice) to offer to help out the ATA. How smart they all look today. The only smarter looking one is Jim Bradford. Headed in a fantastic direction, or already there?
