I get my Permanent Prosthessis tomarrow at 10.00am, They put me on the temporary one Tuesday and I started running on it, She yelled at me stop running you can break that one as it is only the temporary one. That running surprised her and Ace Prosthetics owner, he said Gary in all my years of fitting them you are the only patient I have had that did not use the walkway support bars on your very first Prosthetic. Well I am 2 days short of 7 months of my foot amputation. I can tell you I know what the Wounded Warriors that had a Prosthetic foot fitted only less the Weapon Wounds they felt. I could really feel how good it fit, and can't wait till tomarrow. God Bless you all and good shooting. Gary Bryant...........Dr.longshot
Gary, that is great news, hope your progress continues as rapidly as it has to date ... You'll be back dancing and giving them hell in not time ... I have a neighbor who is a double amputee, didn't know it by the way he gets around and some of the things he does its absolutely amazing ... He says attitude is what got him and kept him going and we all know you got attitude (attitude is a good thing) ... Best of Luck ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
Friday I had my first full day using it, fit is almost perfect, now getting steady holding my gun, and finish lifting arm weights to get arm strength back. Did not do well in buddy shoots Friday night BBBBbbrrr it was cold. Go Ohio State Buckeyes, beat Illinois Gary Bryant....................Dr.longshot
I am going to try and Tweek my Prosthesis a little more, for more stability, there is nothing like having your real foot for balance/stability. Gary Bryant......................Dr.longshot
