Telephonic Grand....what happened?

A few months ago the site was rabid with the anti and pro telephonic grand talk. Has this idea been kicked into the closet or still alive?

 

Nothing much to talk about ... the 2016 Grand will be in Sparta.

It has to be ... everyone needs their travel expense checks, the sham once a year meeting has to be in one place, the year-round vendor is there, and the Carp Cabin Bait Shack needs to open.

PS ... there is a rumor that if you attend the Sparta Grand in 2016 you get a one year supply of Kool Aid for free.

New for the 2016 Grand ... the Grand trophies come with a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee for everyone. That's right everyone .... if for some reason you question the value of your trophy, just take it to the Carp Cabin and exchange it for enough carp bait for you, all 12 people staying in your camper with you, to fish for the entire shoot.

If you win a trophy late in the shoot and do not have enough time to use all your bait, the State of Illinois has agreed to allow people to stay after the shoot and fish for the low low price of one thousand dollars per day. That is not a bad price if 2000 shooters can pump 20 million into Sparta during the shoot.

 

Confessions cleanse the soul and a few of the Kool Aid Crew finally admitted to venturing over to "that other site" to get up dates on what is happening in Illinois, Tucson, the HOF building and in general world affairs ... There are rumors that this site has so many members because each and everyone of us has several to many names (6 or more) that we post under and at times even disagree with our self to complicate matters even worse and really confuse us and each other on matters that really matter ... I'm not even sure what they mean't by that but once that Kool aid on steroids kicks in, who knows or can predict what will, can, or could happen ... I am a little taken back by "TrapWife" not answering private E Mails (off site) because I was interested in getting a few more Big Leo DVD's for some of the kids at the club who seem to be getting really into trap shooting but can use some good instructional literature to help them along ... I am passing mine around so they can get the advantage of the DVD in the mean time, just hope it don't get lost, stolen, or mutilated ... I was told one of the locals was going to start giving clinics on how to get to the 20 yard line in 10 years without trying or leaving home, won't mention any names because that would not be nice ... That same local is considering giving fishing lessons in the ponds which might still be open for business at the WSRC resort in Sparta, because he knows a crappie when he see's one ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

I need to upgrade my I-Phone 4-S to the new 6-S for the Telephonic Grand. With the larger screen it will be much easier for each member of the squad to see each other through face time.

I have way too much to do right now. I am working on a selfie stick to use on a shotgun stock in case the Grand is telephonic. The squad leader is proving to be tough, being able to see all the other shooters on the squad with the selfie stick holding the phone in one position may not work. I have many rib adapters for a Zebco reel to finish for the people going to Sparta, Grand or no Grand.

They need to decide, selfie stick, or rib adapter supplies for the Carp Cabin .....

 

Possible safety warning for the 2016 Grand ....

There are at least 3 reports of Samsung Galaxy S-6's blowing-up while people were trying to practice for a telephonic Grand. They were all using factory settings with no optional porting.

Some are trying to link Dieter Krieghoff to this. Detonation theories are being talked about.
