SKB 90TSS youth model for women

It's time I pick your brains ! My wife has been dabbling in trap and enjoys it. She will shoot my 12 y/o Browning Citori from time to time. His gun has all the stock work done for a reduced LOP. She wants a O/U. I had her try BT99 Micro and she didn't like it. I'm trying to keep it around $1600-1700. I know there are some that dislike SKB's. I've been seeing mixed reviews. She isn't going to be shooting 10,000 rounds a year. Just some registered rounds and the local shoots. Has anyone bought one of these for wife, sister, girlfriend, daughter, niece, or significant other? How do they like it? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

 

I just bought a 90TSS Trap and I really like it. The fit and finish is exceptional and the features are remarkable for the price of the gun. My son's fiancee is a little bit of a gal (about 105lbs soaking wet) and I personally think the 90TSS would be an excellent choice. My son agrees. I don't know the specs on the youth model and it would be worth while to compare the full size to the youth model to see what is appropriate. The full size gun has HUGH adjustments as far as LOP. Maybe a full size gun with a shorter barrel. I would also recommend you call SKB in Omaha and talk to one of their techs. They should be able to steer you in the right direction. Good luck.
