All you folks are in our prayers. Be safe! I am to the west in Panama City Beach. One man’s luck can be another’s tragedy.
I said to my son over dinner, it's looking scary for the Silver Dollar. Prayers, best of luck and be safe to the good folks down at the Silver Dollar!
Decisions…..a hurricane is coming. Are the traps safer in the house, or do you bring in as many as possible? Asking for a friend.
If it were me, and I am really grateful it is not, I would have tried to lease a trailer and tractor. Loaded up the traps and finished out the load with cases of targets. By now the truck and trailer would be somewhere in north Georgia or beyond. That way when this ends if the trap houses are standing I would have traps and some dry targets to start up. As it stands, I sit this morning in central FL having almost recovered from an April hail storm that destroyed the house roof, two cars, pool enclosure, my RV, and my storage building. Thoughts are about safely riding the storm out and then having to deal with roofers, insurance adjusters, car dealers, rv dealer, and aluminum contractors all over again. This is our eighth go round with this in 34 years, and like me it’s getting old and tiresome.
Sorry about your troubles, I was asked to move to the Orlando area for work a while back and that’s exactly why I declined. Well, that and I hate the heat- FL is not for me except for maybe a week in January or February. I hope everyone makes it out without too much damage.
also, if you want to kill your avg. shoot in Fl, with the heat, humidity, and constantly changing winds its a tough place to shoot
