I was told by a distributor that Winchester does not expect to have a primer for sale for almost 2 years as all they are producing are going into there ammo. No idea on when ammo will be readily available.
Domestic primers will be hard to get for the next year but imports should be able to fill some of the void. My distributor told me the French made primers will come 1st followed by the Italian imports.
The imports are metric so they are slightly larger one you use metric a domestic will be very loose and may fall out.

Plenty of primers in canada, just can't get them here. Read that a few times at the beginning of the shortage. Are there plenty of primers in Canada? When are covid restrictions lifted?
When things do settle down I think we are in for a large increase across the board for all loading components.HOARDERS will not help the situation when they do become available
It sure seems like we go through this cycle about every 12 years or so. I had bought large in 2008 and am using that to supply my friends and myself.
2008 was BAD, 2012 was also BAD, 2016 wasn't good either..... but yet a lot of people didn't stock up. ?.?.? If every serious shooter had enough components to get through a year, there would be minimal panic buying and the prices wouldn't skyrocket either. Shooters almost do it to themselves.
