Not seen for sale very often and in excellent condition. Fourth edition (barrell marked (big C, little o) REMINGTON ARMS Co. iLION, NY, manufactured 1900-1903 estimated production 12,000. The only apology is that the top barrel rib looks to have been hit on card table edge, see picture, no break in finish. The finish on this gun is outstanding for its age and no cracks visible in the hinge. (my judgement under magnifying glass). These guns do not come to the market very often and this one only b/c of my age and liquidation of some fine firearms. These grips are also aftermarket grips, but true to the era. It also has an extractor, locks up tight but as with all these designs a little end play is obvious. I have never shot this gun, but it has been in my possession for near 50 years. Comes with a box of 45 of 50 original cartridges. [a side value of more than $200 conservatively.] Exceptional finish on this specimen. Will look great in your vest pocket at the card table along side your Colt 45 SAA. Offered at $1650 to lower 48, except CA (non-negiotable). Sold as is, ask questions, my intent is proper representation. Ships via ffl to ffl. Compare pricing on GunsInternational.
