Just a FYI, the serial number update was the locking bolt, from the ten degree to the eight degree after around 2550. The bolt should be good to go. The forearm update was not done at the factory (Competition Arms) originally. It is possible it has been updated though afterwards. Though that update was not that important, IMO. If it works now, you did not really need it. Could you post a photo of the forearm iron latch? Thanks. Nice gun, and what I shoot now. Factory choked, fixed barrels are the best.

That is the standard latch. Though like I said, if it works, no need to update. The bolt was the most important update of the two, which yours has from the factory.

Like I said before nice gun, and those side plates add to the value.
