Aftermarket French made barrel with a full choke tube. Looks like Briley. Very nice shape. Shoots higher than my factory Perazzi barrel. $500 shipped
Best I've been able to come up with is that Verney Carron of France made the barrels and Hastings USA imported them. They're fairly common, I think theres another one on Ebay (including this one). Or was a few weeks ago. I'll get a picture of the tube and send to Briley to see if they can verify. Previous owner said it was an early Briley tube @ .035 constriction. Only marking on it is a F stamped near the end in what looks like Brileys font style.
I cant say that its machining or performance appears any better than Perazzi. It does shoot about 3" higher than my factory TM1 barrel. If the bluing is original, the bluing is very good. Reminds me of a gloss you might see on a rifle. Also forgot to mention its set up to extract, not eject.
I dont believe so. It came with the receiver as a parts gun but was hard to open like it needed fit. It has a newer locking block which makes me think it was fitted with another barrel when the block was installed and this one just thrown on there to sell it as a complete gun. It opens and closes but has just has a tad more resistance than it should.
