I was sent this and delayed reporting it. How could this be true?

The New York ATA Delegate requested an end to the bank rotation system in his state. My question is for whom?

    Then I received the above.

    I report. You decide.

If someone knows how to put up a poll I'd like one that asks which will close first? The ATA or the IRS. I just wish I could do it.

That's right Steelhead. Why do I believe the good bank was paid for (winky wink) a long time ago?

The decision included all Satellite Grands not just his, but recommended banks be rotated.

I am laughing at all this. To start with, only the Board of Directors has the power to change the rules and that is with the help of the rules committee. This was done unilaterally by the Executive Committee. The EC's job is to fulfill their obligation to the Board of Directors. The BOD didn't vote on this. This was not an emergency so no need for EC action.

Cichelli writes a letter and the EC changes the rules. What a joke? Which Delegate if any objected to the corruption of the process?

Dysinger get's it. The ATA is doomed. The Board of Directors is too incompetent to understand their roll in the organization. The ATA and the IRS may fail together.

Each and every Delegate is clueless as to their roll. And the EC knows it.

Those premium bank spots will go for a premium. Who gets the tips on those transactions?

I know of at least one Satellite Grand contract that required the host club to rotate banks for each 100 of the championship singles events, which is what I believe this was in reference to. Clubs should still be able to make the decision to rotate assignments day-to-day.

MI Berry.....Please answer. What would clubs base their decision on to make it more fair? How much money the person on the best bank paid? How lazy shoot management is? How many tips shoot management gets as a whole for rigging the shoot? How much more money shoot management got for early squadding?
    Or ethics?

I am sure you can scratch the last one (ethics) out right?

I wont go to a New York event now.

I believe staffing is part of this change. All clubs and shoots are having problems with finding people to work the events.

I'm willing to listen. How does rotating the banks require more staffing?

Unfortunately we can hear tone of a post. But....I can see it would take more than a handful of shooters to pick up the banks in NY and rotate them. Considering the health of our shooters (not counting SCTP) that could be problematic.

This rule specifically applies to a 200 bird event where the 2nd 100 has to be shot on a different trap/bank than the 1st 100. It is not affecting anything else or whether or not the club does any other rotation.

Why not rotate? Who wanted to shoot all 200 on the same bank?
