Ok it’s here. Our Empire State is requiring background checks even for ammunition. Predictions please.

I can’t predict it, but my wish is that GOV Hochul has the worst day of her career….very soon.

I predict bordering states will see a large increase in ammo sales.

Seattle put a per round tax on ammo, every store that sold ammo moved out of Seattle--build an Ammo shop on the NY border's a guaranteed winner !!

I got out of NY shortly after I had to register witht he State Police to be licensed to buy ammo for retail sales. There was no BGC on ammo but I had to get ID and put a copt of receipt in ammo magazine with name, and address and what I used for ID and keep an inventory of ammo in and out of the shop. Could only have 2 wood magszines and no more then 50lb's in each one. That was not many 8# jugs of shotgun powder on premises

Pa. is still a 2nd amendment state, guess NY'ers will have Togo to Vermont to buy ammo if Pa. folds later on

That is what you get for letting the democrats take control of your state, Roger C.

Now there’s a bill before Hochul to ban animal hunting contests! They claim this will not affect “normal” hunting. As soon as they start talking about it usually is the next thing to ban!
Now that the ammo thing is firmly in place and the uninformed have experienced it while trying to buy their yearly hunting season ammo, the outcry is resounding. They want to know what the ammo is for and what gun. Along with a lot more info. The small LGS are dropping like flies. The great state of New (Excelsior) York is just another step to a total registration and then ban on firearms.
