I bought this Ljutic with a "JL2" Adjustable rib. Does anybody have a tool to adjust the rib...Please show it so I can make the tool.
I found this on a old post. Discussion starter·#4·Aug 28, 2018 There is a hole by the front bead. You have to use an Allen wrench. 60-40 to well over 100%. Higher than a one touch can going
Thank you, Is there a tool for turning the screw that raises or lowers the front of the rib. The screw has notches machined 180 degrees apart which tells me the screw was designed for a tool to turn the screw.
Thank you Anthony! Is it not an allen wrench I need, It is a tool to turns the screw to raise or lower the rib's point of impact The screw thread has machined part of the threads180 degrees apart for a flat tool can grip the screw and turn it to raise the rib up or down. I wanted to see what the Ljutic designed, but I can make one.....I just didn't want to re-invent the wheel.
Call Mike Hugill at Ljutic. His cell is He's a fine guy and will help if he has one. I would wait till 9am their time Good Luck
I did call Ljutic and had a great conversation. They didn't design a tool to turn the screw. I will when it gets warmer and OI can work in the garage
