Might just be the best rifle shot I ever made?

One shot at 105 yds at penny, not so hard you say, ya but turned sideways. Used my hyper accurate 17 HMR custom Anchutz 17 HMR. If you look to the left of scope you can see the board that has the penny on it. DSCN2132.JPG DSCN2127.JPG

Here's another pic of penny after shot. Tried to paste on OP, but had problem.

Sure, now try it without the scope ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

I think the below analogy would apply.
"Given enough time a man could also piss a hole through a rock".

And for my next death defying act, I will take a frog hair, split it in the middle, shave on both sides and attempt split it again with one shot! Just ran into a problem...their hibernating lol. But wait, the penny and a frog hair has a flaw...it only shows an east west axis! Has room for a slight fudge factor north and south. Hmm, so after having a coffee induced vision, how about this, shooting at an empty 17 cal brass shell casing with the opening facing you? No room for error, N, S, E & W. I'll try using my Go Pro camera for this shot, no pun intended.

Shoot the flame off of a candle , used to do that in the basement when I was a kid ... Do not hit the candle only the flame ... We used to shoot quarters, got one on my key chain from way back ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Dang, pulled it off on first shot, excuse me as i adjust my halo! And captured it on my Go Pro. It's been years since i edited any videos. Too long a clip to watch from the start as i had to start camera, walk back and get heart rate back to normal. But i did take BP and heart pills 2 hours before including listening to music via head phones (guitars Cadillacs and hill billy music). First i shot through a cold barrel to see where bullet impacted. Shot just 12:00 of X. So i held just a bullet width below opening of shell casing. Now to see if i can edit vid and post. Here it is. Fun being retired, can do completely unimportant things like this. Bullet went perfectly thru and actually exited out side of casing. Had a hard time to get the shell on the exact plane with gun barrel, that's why it went into shell and exit on side.
Could not post vid from computer to this site, so i just played it on laptop and videoed that and posted. Keep eye on far right case.

Hey, check this out. After removing shell casing from board i noticed that bullet did in fact did pass all the way through back of shell.

I've heard shooters call it "sighting in oil." Great shooting.
