Serial #18x. Recently completely gone through by Phillips Gunsmithing – thorough clean, lube, and adjust firing pin to eliminate occasional piercing of Cheddite primers. He did considerable test firing at his shop with no piercing, and I found none after 200 rounds shot. 33” barrel, bright shiny ~0.738 bore, comes with 5 choke tubes, 3 Ljutic (labeled 0.700, 0.708, and 0.718) and 2 Wright’s (#5 and #9). I’d call it a 70/30 to 80/20 gun. Pull trigger. Stock has some impression marks and scuffs/scratches – nothing too bad. Two recoil pads – fit on both is not perfect but not horrible. LOP is 14 1/2” to 14 5/8”. Stock is rather straight with a small bit of right-hand cast. Bought this gun for the recoil reduction thrust hammer design which works well but injury/arthritis in my right hand makes it too hard to open the gun after a couple of rounds.
