League of Woman Voters Upset at Illinois

The two sides, in addition to Republican leaders, haven’t all met since late May, prompting the League of Women Voters of Illinois, Illinois Campaign for Political Reform and other statewide groups to call for negotiations.

“We have been at such a standstill for so long,” said Susan Garrett, chairwoman of the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform, a nonprofit focused on issues such as government ethics and voter education.
