What is the latest at Sarasota? I never shot there but know of some great folks that have. What happened at the BOD meeting concerning Sarasota? If this is a bad subject I will ask mods to remove it.
Heheheheh, according to the pom-pom girls on that old worn out site EVERY subject we talk about on here is a "bad" subject. Which reminds me. Not too much to cheer about and shake your pom-poms with only 1784 shooters for the GAH, is there girls?
I do not play well with Pom, Pom girls, after being put on double secret probation and serving out a sentence of being banned for 6 months, I got banned permanently for making one post, expressing my opinion ... I guess if you do not follow the routine and say what you think you get banned, but then you actually feel cleansed and refreshed ... Been there, done that ... Sheeple talk a lot but never say anything ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
I hope Sarasota get's things ironed out now that their Florida Delegate will be back from the Grand. This is a nice club, very active people with Trap and Camping expansion plans when we were there in February. I wish the club and it's members good luck.
I give this club a lot of credit for making a stand and standing with the members and not taking the side of "Big Brother" in this matter , just as a way to eliminate the issue and or problem ... I doubt it will cost them any business in doing what they have made the choice to do ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
Shot there when down seeing my mom. Will not cost club, ATA is the one losing money. Way to promote to sport!!!
It would be nice if someone from the Sarasota Club in question would post something so we could get the other side of the story ... There is always two sides to every story and so far all we have is one ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
From a letter sent by the club on July 1st 2016. Maybe this has been reversed, though I did not see any scheduled ATA shoots on their website. "For those of you interested in participating in an active Trap program at the Club, we will continue to run trap tournaments as before but without the ATA involvement and monies ordinarily going to the ATA or FTA going to prizes instead. We will however not be throwing ATA registered targets until further notice. If you have any further questions regarding this matter please contact our Manager Don Webster at the Club.?"
