Anyone have the new Krieghoff KX6 Special? I saw one at a local club. It had real wood. Is trapshooting doing that well that Krieghoff can invest in this gun line?
The KX-6 has been out for a while, are3 you sure about the Wood? Supposed to be a Photographic Applied to a cheaper wood to look like nice wood.that is according to Kreighoff, unless someone has put CUSTOM WOOD on it . Same was done on the New Fabarms RS-12, Blued Model. Yours in Sport Gary Bryant.................................Dr.longshot

Hey everyone, here is what my stock looks like up close. I've seen four different KX-6 Specials and they all have different wood.
Shot one at the Grand and loved every shot. Soft on the recoil and points great. Great fun! Kreighoff nailed this gun
https://www.krieghoff.com/competition-shotguns/krieghoff-kx-6-single-shot-trap/ My curiosity has peaked. Can someone tell me why the specs state a 3" chamber ? Is this sort of a way of having an extended forcing cone ? I guess I am just curious, as I haven't seen a true Trap Gun with other than a 2 3/4" chamber before, except for some antique's that had 2 5/8" chambers. There may be others out there, I just have never heard of them. Thanks for any input.
I bought one at the end of last summer.. I absolutely love it. I made very little adjustments right out of the box and I shot a pair of 96's with it.
They are good guns I would personally chose a K-80 unsingle for better (less) recoil and flexibility. If you only shoot singles they are very good guns but a little harder to sell than the K-80.
The KX-6 has been out several years, popularity is slow to come due to price increases GB........................................DLS
