As a youngster I used to shoot an Ithaca 37, 40 - 50 years ago for jack rabbits and doves, it belonged to my brother-in-law and I don’t know any more about that gun. In recent years for upland birds, I’ve been shooting a Fabarm Deluxe Hunter, it is an excellent gun but now I’ve got an itch and since “variety is the spice of life”, I’ve determined that getting an earlier vintage 37 to conserve and use in the field is an excellent project.

Does anyone know, is there a publication/s explaining in depth, the differences in the different models? If so, can anyone direct me to a source? Looking for 60’s and earlier vintage.

Loved those old Ithaca 37s. I always wanted a featherweight 20. When they were readily available i didnt have the money. Now you dont see them in good shape anywhere.
