It is time for the ASTERISK

    I am way tired of the chest thumping. My targets were harder than your targets. My truck bigger than your truck. We all know some target settings harder than others. Big frickin deal!

    One thing we all understand is the asterisk. Put the asterisk below the damn list. Let the public decide. Let's shoot for money again.

    In my opinion the chase for the points and to get on these various list only resulted in cheating. Thump your chest and swear I don't care. It is well documented.

    Let's get back to trap shooting and screw your damn lists. Put the apostrophe at the bottom. We'll decide.

    I have a few more categories we will need as well.

    Make sure to denote all the shooters who got a Grand Slam by reading the trap.

    Make sure to denote all the shooters who got a Grand Slam out west at higher altitude.

    Make sure to denote all the shooters who go a Grand Slam with Adjustable ribs, combs, barrel work etc.

    Make sure to denote all the shooters who got a Grand Slam with the shells going 1250 fps.

    Make sure to denote all the shooters who got a Grand Slam with voice pulls and Pat Traps.

    Fine! Color code them. Make them all worthless colors and marks. Let the public decide. Not one of those columns on a piece of paper mean you are going to win the next pot.

    Make a shell the standard. Fix the handicap, shut up and let shoot for money again. Those statistics are worthless.

    Everyone has an opinion, a Grand Slam is still a Grand Slam regardless of shells, before 1985 or after give the people who have accomplished this feat their due and let's get on with it.
