This is being pushed by the Illinois Association of Police Chiefs. They are not just from the Chicago area. Many are also from the southern part of the state.
The State of Illinois has been one of the most restricted states in the United States for as long as I can remember ... This is not ever going to change and with all of the blame gamers out there saying guns, not the shooters them self are to blame it will only add fuel to the fire ... I resolved my self long ago that the only way any one was going to get or take my gun is once its empty and even then it will be a good weapon on ones head, face, body etc. until I take my last breath ... The people of Southern Illinois claim that Cook County is the problem in the State, but that is only where it starts and obviously does nothing to curtail murders and assaults in any way ... The state imposes restrictions and will only broaden them as time goes by, no ammo and your gun is useless ... Not going to get any better, so sit back and watch ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
