I noticed a Premium increase on my renewal, and GEICO listed my 2013 Chevrolet Impala LS V-6, 6 passenger Base auto by GM, as a HIGH PERFORMANCE, I called GEICO and they would not put me in touch with Premium Dept. I got Quotes from several insurance companies and got lower premiums after being w. GEICO 6+ years, and changed company. GEICO is known for doing this after look at the INTERNET under GEICO. I go out for bids every three years on auto and homeowners just for that reason Gary. I find that most insurance companies will give you a good rate the first year or so then slowly start going up. This year I went back to a company I had three years ago when they were too high, now they are giving me a good rate. I use my declaration page with the cost redacted so I will be getting bids for the same coverage.
