I have a MX2000s and I am starting to carry my gun to the gun club already put together and not carrying it in the hard Perazzi case. I am looking for something that will give me some protection but not to big and bulky. I am juis using a gun sock that I got at my state shoot.
I like Wild Hare gun slips. I'm sure there are other brands out there that offer good protection but I personally have used the Wild Hare brand.
Agree with Wayne J. Wild Hare have slips that are durable and protective. They have a nice 2 barrel slip for $88.
Not sure where you live- but check out a Scheels store, or a Cabelas if theres one in your area- or next big shoot you attend, check out a vendor. I pick mine up at Briley if they happen to be attending a shoot.
I have several Beretta soft cases that are really thick and you can get a Tactical soft case that has outside pouches for ear plugs, choke tubes etc. measure the lenght you need and post that so you know what you get will fit the job. Don
John, many sporting clays shooters use the Wild Hare case to carry their gun between stations if they are walking to protect from dust and help prevent handling marks. While they are good for that they have very little padding. If you intend to case your shotgun between shooting stations get a Wild Hare type. If you are just looking for something to keep in the car then Boyt makes a great case but many retailers like Cabela’s have their own branded cases that are cheaper and will do a fine job of protecting that 2000s. I have both Boyt and Wild Hare and I carried that gun in a Boyt case when taking it to the club.
