How many are shooting the CZ Trap Combo

How do yoou like the new CZ Un-single Trap combo? it has a 32"inch Unsingle 90/10 POI and the O/U is 50/50 foor Dbls, I have one on order and was wondering likes/dislikes.

Why a 32 inch single, seems strange because most want to the 34 inch and easier to sell ... WPT ... (YAC)...

 

32" in Bbls is all they Offer, on Un-single and the 32"in O/U, I actually point a 32' IN Bbl best
This will be my Last Trapgun. CZ makes a loot of guns, they added 85 Models this year.

I just finished researching the CZ American Trap Combo, they are made in CZECH REPUBLIC they Purchased the Dan Wesson Firearms. in 2005,. The Mfgr is UHERSKY BROD CZ is the Largest small arms company in the World, They Mfgr. Nothing But The Best. 125,000 SMALL ARMS PER YEAR, AND 30% ARE SHIPPED TO THE, USA.

All CZ Machine work is done on CNC Machinery from 4 countries, All guns are Forged, and they have 2 large Hammer Forges., They have 15 CNC Machines.

CZ Rifles are allover the Benchrest Shooter Matches. And they are known for being Tack Drivers. The US Marine Sharp Shooter saym the CZs are the most Accurate Hand Guns Bar none. Sunday on 610 AM they have a Gun Program that talks about pistols
and the Newest CZ 45 Calibre they just put out is the Most Accurate The Target shooters have ever shot.

Tri-Star are Mfgd in Turkey in the same plant that built the HUGLU, Mfgr is CANIK. Which also does Beretta work on a Sub-Contract basis.

I will see how it performs after The 4th of July.

Do they have virgins running the machines like a few of the other top of the line gun manufactures ..? I have a Buddy who was on the US Pistol Team out of Virginia, I will have to ask him if he knows about the Marines and what they say about the C'Z's … Did you buy it or still looking ..?

Doc, are saying the CZ combo is made in the Czech Republic? If so, you might want to check again. All sources I see say they're Turkish.

 

CZ shotguns....You can put lipstick and a dress on a pig, but it's still a pig.

 

Purchased. will be here Tuesday. The Marine Expert shooters quoted how accurate the one they used was.

One thing that has me concerned the CZ All American Trap Combo has REMINGTON STYLE EXTENDED CHOKE TUBES. I have never patterned any of those in the past. I Really Like the Ceaser Guerini/ Axis Chokes, they are SUPERB
I have not found any specs on the CZ Bores. I will use my BORE Mics on the Bbls, and Choke Tubes to see how they have them machined, then proceed to the Pattern Board and Pattern the X-Full Choke tube, at 35 yards using the Estate 1 1/8th oz 7 1/2s @ 1250 fps, Walmart now have these in stock in 4 packs @ $21.67 a very good Buy.. The AA super hdcps, and Nitro 27s are$29.07 + tax in 4 packs.thats $72.70 a flat+tax.

The CZ All American Trap Combo came out approx 2 years ago, this is the first I had heard of it at the Ohio State Shoot, if it performs well it will be a really fast selling Combo, the Non Selective Trigger is no problem for me, as that is the way I shoot mine. It shoots Bottom Bbl 1st.

Pretty sure CZ rifles are made in Czech Republic and they are a fine rifle. And the CZ Shotguns Are Made In Turkey!!

 

I am repeating this again, CZ guns are made at UHERSKY BROD in the Czech Republic, and this is the worlds largest small arms company, that IMPORTS 30% of it's guns to the USA, This is Documented on the CZ Website. Why all the discussion, go to the CZ website

Its your money, but me thinks you are getting another to get rid of … Should of kept the Model 12 … WPT … (YAC) …

 

Longshot you should have bought a Tristar combo. all kinds of adjustments and better choke tube system. cz have weak triggers like a Daisy BB gun.

 

I am making an apology on my CZ, It IS made in Turkey, but not at the TRI-Star Plant, but a new plant with latest equipment, The bore is .737 and the one marked X-FULL is .700 so it has .037 Full choke, I will be micing the rest later tonite, I have set up the gun to fit me, I am Impressed w/Quality of the wood, It Is way above Average, The Recoil pad adjustment is similar to a GRACO w/ vertical adjustment, and 27 Degree twist for RH & LH adjustment, I moved to trigger as far back as it will go, I put a RH angle on the Pad, I got 3 different replies on the Choke tubes, Remington, Beretta,& Blaser, they look like BLASER TUBES, Threads are at the Bottom, deep in the Bbl, It came withy 11 Choke Tubes. I set up the Un-single took the Bbl dow at the front as low as possible so it will shoot it's Highest, Bluing is REAL Dark, I do not have my Trigger Pull Gauge, my son has it. I had to modify the Comb Pins to get my sight picture, I had to add approx 1/2 inch to get my Figure Eight, Moved the comb adjust as far to the right as it will go, and it aligns up straight down the center of the Rib., I lubed all friction areas and the Choke tube It came with an Americase w/ very nice CZ -USA under it it says, " PROTECT HUNT COMPETE ", YOU CAN INSTALL Padlocks to lock it, The Hinges also have Key Locks. All CZ shotguns are made in Turkey in various plants.

Hey Doc, here is some free and sound advice.

First, get the guy that told you they weren't made in Turkey and the guy that told you all the screens were up at the CC(when they weren't) and tell them to never give you any info ever again.

Second, before you buy anything in the future, ask here first. These guys know which end of the barrel the shell goes in or they know how to use Google and would be more than willing to help.

That Buddy of mine who shot on the US Pistol Team out of Quantico, Va said they never heard of a CZ back when he was in and active , said most of the pistols they used were customized for their intended purpose ... Said he still shoots a couple of nights per week but has only used and owned Glocks for the past 15 or so years ... Still had the custom made .045 that was cut down to a mini size by the gunsmith /machinist, said he has carried that for over 45 years ... I'm a betting man and will bet you do not keep that gun for very long before you go off and find you another one of a kinders .... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

I read a story once about Joe Ljutic. "He said," He spent more time inspecting and deciding on the metal for his Mono guns than most companies spent making their guns. Like I sad about CZ's. You can put lipstick and a dress on a pig but it's still a pig.

 

WPT we will just have to wait and see, I do not judge w/o giving it a chance, I can say it is NOT built like a TRI-Star, there are a lot of guns that are way over priced, even w/Lipstick on them, they are what they are. The Ljutic are one of the simplest guns on the market, and are way over priced in my Opinion. We have a Local Radio station here in Columbus, Ohio 610 am, that sells Hand Guns and evaluates them, and in depth details on the CZ and the US Marine Pistol Team, stated that the CZ was forged steel like the original Government Issue, but was more Accurate, he talked the talk and walked the walk on this New .45 CZ, I am not into Pistols, but I felt he knew what he was talking about, wish I could Remember the CZ #, CZ introduced 85 new Hand Guns in the Last Year. I like the feel of this CZ American Combo, I say give it a Year of competetion and see how it Performs, the SCTP Teams are using it. It's like Winchester Model 12s against the top Trap guns Made and it's accomplishments, My personal opinion on the CZ American Trap Combo and the Ceasar Guerini's Accomplishments in ATA Shooting, are mngoingm to be a good comparasion.

After getting the CZ and seeing it, putting it together and adjusting it to me I have Faith in it and the Choke tubes, nothing is Beretta, not even the choke tubes, They are Blaser tubes and they are 2-7/8ths long, no mechanism's are Tri-Star, Look at That wood, has a lot of figure, and nice finish.

One of our local shooters bought a used one as a backup gun for his Perazzi MX-2000 and planned to shoot it for doubles. When he showed it to me on Saturday I suggested it wouldn't last long.
