i have for sale a set of custom remington 1100 wood it was made buy famous stock maker J.L. DOCKWILLER of CALIFORNIA the stock has some marks in the finish but doesnt apear to be into the wood ,, custom wood is getting real $$$$$ these days., has a morgan adj but plate and a nice soft kick eez pad installed, . stock measures 13 and 3/4 and is a right hand , $1,000.00 plus shiping
Doc was a great guy, you have a piece of history there. Both he and Mike that did your checkering are gone now. You couldn't replicate the checkering for that price, much less the wood. What is the measurement to the end of the wood, if you don't mind? thanks, Andy
Any chance that wood came from a guy in Oregon? I sold a set that looked just like that to a guy who lived in Eastern Oregon some years ago.
so, to be clear the trigger to end of wood is 13 3/4"? Not counting the pad and Morgan device? Sorry, just need to be clear. thanks, Andy
I will rephrase the question. Did you buy the gun from a guy in Eastern Oregon named Carl Cacho? I sold an 1100 with a Hastings high rib barrel that looked identical to that set. I always regretted selling that set and would like to have it back for sentimental reasons.I’m not looking for a set of wood but that set.
