I have a TM1 Special that has a 34" barrel with Briely thin wall chokes and Wilkinson back bored the barrel to 740 and installed a Delron rib. It is not stamped because the barrel was Pro Ported and Briely thin wall chokes installed before it was sent to Tom. Receiver, Iron and trigger have been nickled and trigger has a Phillip's release. Wood was refinished about a year ago and the Gracoil LOP unit was installed. The LOP with existing pad adjusted in is 14 1/4" . Has a Briely Full choke in it now and has a M that has not been used yet. The ser # is 69889 (( $3400 Delivered to your FFL in the Lower 48 )) Any questions please send a conv message for info and contact # -- Thanks Bob
Rob, Some think that "a lot of features" means the gun has been significantly modified and that those modifications reduce the value below what a clean unaltered gun would bring. Ever try to get a back bored gun re-proofed? The right buyer would love this gun. But it may be a narrow market. Here is an interesting question. If 2 shotgun were for sale on GB or some such open site, with no minimum and one is modified with backboring, chokes, porting, rib and trigger work and the other is a clean unaltered gun, both with the same basic configuration and barrel length etc., which one do you think would sell for more? Jake
It's interesting how these things go in and out of style. Not too many years ago, many many shooters wanted these modifications, and Tom and others are the best at doing them. This would be a fine gun, and in my view, much improved over an off the shelf gun. If I had room for one more trap gun, I would not hesitate for any reason on one like this.
Thanks for the comments and I think it will eventually sell . The previous owner spent a lot of money on the changes -- Bob
Bob. I have a 34" TM1 barrel with Allor barrel work would you be interested in. Thanks. Ron. 618-841-6344
At the Clay Target Championship this year a friend of mine on our squad ran the 200 and was the 3rd to last man standing in the shoot off. And he was shooting a TM1 with a Delron rib and a factory stock from back in the day. Sure shows you what a TM1 can do. And Bob is a trusted seller. These modern stocks make a huge difference.
