For Sale: Perazzi MX - type 4 - O/U 32" Barrel

This is a type 4 MX style barrel that was originally on an MX-8 gun and owned by Tom Seitz. Tom accurized this barrel, relieved the forcing cones and adjusted the pattern with a #4 choke tube in the bottom and fixed full in Top. Tom also added his signature Tom Seitz porting to both barrels. This is not a want-a-be Tom Seitz barrel, it's the real deal and it is signed, stamped and certified by Tom himself. I also have 4 additional choke tubes in a Nigrini choke tube case that come with it, two standard Perazzi and two brand new Teague's.
Originally the step style rib fit MX-3 Specials, MX-8's and those lower ribbed guns. I have added a Keene rib with Hi-Viz sights and it now fit's MX-15's, MX-20000, MX-10's, MX10RS< and MX2005's or higher rib profile guns. The add a rib by Keene is factory installed and guaranteed for life or you can remove it back to original step rib design.
Personally I love the barrel but I have two and the other barrel I shoot a bird or two better so rather then switching back and forth now that I have my singles / Doubles gun done, I've decided to let someone else enjoy this one. Barrel has normal wear and tear, see Photo's all nice, but great shape and ready to do it's part if you do yours! Can the add a rib be removed?

 

Yes, it is still available

 

The add a rib was professionally done by Keene Ribs in CA and can be removed without any damage to the Original Step rib on the barrel. Also Keene guarantee's their ribs installed by them thus if you want it on it is covered. This barrel will be at the Eastern Zone shoot in Cicero, NY next Thursday on to see up close ... site 113. Keene set the rib up to shoot 80/20 with the beads stacked as a figure 8, Bores are marked 18.4, weight KG 1.630.

These barrels were set up by Tom Seitz for Doubles and the bottom barrel with choke tube mic's at .020 and top at .030 and both hit in same spot, accurized by Tom Seitz.

 

will the barrels fit a comp one.

 

These are type 4 barrels so as long as your comp 1 is a type 4 the forend will snap on and the barrels will fit either a type 3 or 4 receiver but you need type4 forend with iron to latch them on.
