Fajen Remington 870 Monte Carlo semi-inlet DIY Stock. Stock has been partially sanded, likely needs a little minor inletting work to get it to head-up. Fits 12ga, 16ga, and full frame 20ga. I put some rubbing alcohol on it for the pics to show what it'd look like finished. The Bad: I picked this up last month with the intention to drill out the stock bolt hole and put it on an 1100. What I ran in to a couple days ago is that Fajen drilled the stock bolt hole in two steps, half way from the front, and half way from the back, and both holes didn't quite line up with one another (and I now know neither were parallel with the gun). I had my fingers crossed that the hole from the receiver end was true, and that it would square everything up once I drilled it out (using a piloted bit setup I put together), unfortunately it was not to be, the stock bolt hole now sits high-left when viewed from the butt (the hole is dead straight, meaning my piloted setup worked perfectly, it's just that it followed the factory hole, which I now know was angled to begin with). This means I can't get the lock washers or stock tube nut to seat without opening the hole quite a bit, even then it'd result in a stock with a lot of RH cast. The Good: Absolutely none of this will affect the stock fit on an 870 whatsoever, since you have a 1/4" bolt going through a 5/8" hole (the same way factory stocks have come from Remington for the past 20+ years), so there is plenty of clearance around the stock bolt, and the angle of the stock bolt hole doesn't matter in the slightest and you'd never know the difference once the stock is installed. You will need the current generation 10 1/4" long stock bolt, as I glued in an oak plug as a part of the 1100 conversion which will be non-removable. All this means is that this is basically an 870 stock only unless you wanted to spend more time than I'm willing to to get it on a 1100 (and would fit a Remington 58 or 878 as well). If you have a large enough lathe or mill, I'll bet you could plug the hole with a dowel and redrill the hole as well if you want to use it on a 1100/1187. $70 shipped
