I am getting an oval hole on the firing pin of my early TM1. Who do you recommend to do the insert thing if that is what it needs? tia
I think a good repair would be have a sleeve made to slip in the Firing pin all the way through to chamber, then have a Step Drill or Reamer bore a new hole and use Blue Loctite to hold it in place, and install a new Firing pin, this would be cheaper and easier than a Laib's job, Perazzi could mfgr them, or a tool designer here in the USA. I hope you guys understand what I am saying, A sleeve to the Dimension of the Firing pin, which would require a larger 2 step hole and a sleeve, like a new Chamber Sleeve GB...........................................DLS
Laib's Gunsmithing & CSTM Guns 201 Highway 23 NE Spicer, MN 56288 320-796-2686 Pat has the insert you need. I had him do the same thing to my 3200. Great job.
