Starlight heavy duty takedown travel case. Color is OD green. Condition is excellent, a couple minor scuffs on the exterior from storage, but basically perfect besides that. These were available through Target Shotguns in NC in the late 2000s to mid 2010s, until the company unfortunately went bankrupt. Easily rivals anything from Pelican or Storm, and blows a Negrini out of the water (Starlight was supplier of gun and equipment cases to the United States military). Maybe a little bit of overkill for day to day use, but although there may be cases such as the Storm and Pelican that are AS good for airline travel (although they wouldn't have the custom foam interior this one does), I doubt there are any better. Interior has custom cut high density polyethylene foam (not that cheap crappy soft open cell garbage that holds moisture and wears out easily). Laid out for an over/under and full set of subgauge tubes, as well as accessories. Barrel section and tubes are cut to accommodate 30", but obviously could be lengthened if necessary, as well as any other modifications to the foam that may be needed to fit your gun. If you don't have/use subgauge tubes, the section in the top can be used for cleaning rods, choke tubes, ect, or just replace the top section with a new piece of foam. Case has two spring loaded stay-flat carry handles, and a set of skate wheels on one end for easy rolling through the airport. Four reinforced receptacles for pad locks, and secure latches that can't come open accidentally. Waterproof with an o-ring seal, built in air pressure regulator for air travel. Weight is 18lb 5.8oz as it sits. Exterior measurements are 41x15x7 $250 plus actual shipping.
