Clays Fail in Texas?

    Just got the news that there was major debacle at the big sporting clays tournament in San Antonio. Sounds like some cheating going on and more.

    Anyone have more news on this?

    2 of my best friends were there. The hurricane forced them to cut the main event short by one day, so they deleted the scores shot on the last course for only those who had completed all 4 courses which (would be a 300 bird event). As a result some shooters that shot some of the harder coures early felt slighted because their higher scores were erased if they shot an easier course last.

    Bill McQuire had the best total, but when they deleted his last 75 targets, the lead changed. Probably would have been better if they deleted the lowest scored course scores, but it is what it is.

    I've not heard any allogations of cheating or more.

    What was the cheating about? Please do tell.
