This place is never open. Worse, they won't tell you when they're not open. 1. They don't update their website. 2. They don't update their voicemail. 3. They don't answer their phone. Fairly lousy service from Cardinal Center.
Website looks updated to me, especially since they say they are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and will re-open at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, which is today. Campground forms must be submitted by the end of the year, so I am sure somebody is working in order to handle that pile of work. Sometimes the phones are transferred to the Campground. You might want to try that number.
Lots of ignorant replies here. Yes, the website says they are closed on 12/24 and 12/25. That's so obvious that it didn't need to be said. The website doesn't say anything about being closed on 12/23, which they were. Get it? Or are your service standards so low that you accept anything? If your reply is going to be ignorant, you can save it.
Wow, am seeing complaints about the Farmstead, the campground and now the shooting ... honeymoon must be over.
Honeymoon is not over, just some non shooter whining. That caller ID really works does it not, they see his name and bingo, the phone goes dead. Roger C.
Not so fast. This does not have much to do with a honeymoon. I see the mods left the post up. Poster backed up his claim with several issues. The CC does a lousy job answering the phones. It only takes a few chubby flies to muck up the soup. I would not say "sucks". The employees at the CC are the best I have seen at a trapshoot. Give the CC a call. Let us know how things go.

Or at least wait until there ARE a lot of negative replies. Geeezzzzz, I've seen some lame trolling but this might just squeak in under the wire as the best of 2018.
You want negative replies? Go somewhere and post that you think the ata could make a few changes on their website. THEN, after you get gang raped by the four stooges and banned you can post here more.
Drove over there Sunday at Noon with a new shooter and flat of Gun Clubs. Closed sign on the little building by the trapline. Nothing on the website. Nobody answering the phones. Right down the road, Top Golf was open with a typically big crowd. It's hard to introduce people to trapshooting when everyone's home for Christmas but the trap range isn't open. That drives people to shoot bullseye targets at Point Blank.
If you think the CC is so bad, drive your happy ass over to Sparta and shoot. Just make sure you have your orange hat, vest and bolt action Mossberg with you .
I don't think the poster has ever been to a really bad club. Either that or he has no idea what the definition of the word "sucks" means. I mean his complaints are really nitpicking as far as I'm concerned.
Can't say I've been a fan of the Farmstead over the years, and at times the website could use a little Tweaking, but a fantastic facility and located in the right place. Regards...….Gerald
Like I said, you're used to bad service. TopGolf is closer and very busy. Point Blank was also busy. Cardinal was closed. Work on your attitude.
When I want to shoot practice I really only have two venues, CC or Blackwing in Delaware. Blackwing is run as a business, CC not so much. To me it seems they're open as more of a courtesy to shooters than to bring in or promote business. I've also found CC closed when it should be open - Don't care for BW too much and will put up with the infrequent irregularities at CC. Did you happen to drive over to the Sporting Clays side or the pistol range? A lot of emphasis on those two areas, bet they were open.
Columbus-smoking357, Why don't you two get together and set up a private club for your selves. Then you can shoot anytime that you want to. That would solve all of your problems. Just a suggestion. Roger C.
Why don't you quit saying stupid things? That's a far more useful suggestion. The biggest Trap club in the country wasn't open when it should have been, and it didn't let anyone know. You're fine with that, because you have low standards. People with higher standards expect better. Quit being on the half-assed side of things.
No business needs customers that thinks they are there to be at his beck and call. powder puff 357 has an attitude. It is better to be a half ass, than a dumb ass, as some of the posters are. Suck it up buttercup . no one cares if you think the club must be open just because you want to shoot. Roger C.
That's precisely what it means to be in business. The client does the business a favor, not the reverse. Whatever you are and wherever you're from has low service standards.
There is a difference between servicing customers and customers that feel any business must be at their beck and call. I ran a very successful business and took very good care of my many clients. None ever indicated that I should be on call 24-7 just to cater to them. Cry baby 357 you are a complainer, you would complain if you were hung with a new rope. Give it up people do not really care if you like the CC or not. Very few people like complainers, especially when they have no grounds for their whining. Now you have a nice day. Try talking to T.J's toaster. Roger C.
Maybe if you would quit sucking your thumb and try the Cardinal Center you might like the taste of it better than a grimy old thumb. If you are going to troll you should get a little sharper. Dave Berlet
