Wait, think I busted the code.
Change the h in "shots" to a p and it becomes "spots".

" shaded spots" that makes more sense.

What's amazing is that you had to ask. We don't have grammar police on this site. Most of us can figure out what someone means without taking a swipe at them DOG. Or would you prefer SMELLY

DR. -- New exactly what you where saying --3/4 of our sporting clay course is in the woods -- and it was a relief in last Sundays heat, as long as you had plenty of bug spray on -- otherwise they would carry you away -- That was after we had one old gentlemen go down with the heat on the trap line .
