Good evening shooters. I was handed this gun from a friend hoping to find out its identity. Its a single shot that appears to be .22 cal. It has a octagonal barrel. I cant find a manufacture any where on the gun. The only clear stamping is seen in the attached photo. Does anyone have a clue what this is? I found a "Remington Rider" carbine that looks similar but not in .22 cal. Please help! Thanks, Jeff Mystery gun2.jpg Mystery gun3.jpg

S J & D searches show fine firearms from Belgium. That looks more like a toy. I don’t see a hammer spur. Is it ground off?

Above is a Remington. Cadet gun maybe.

To me, it appears to be a bad copy of a Stevens Crack Shot rolling block 22 rimfire rifle.

Thank you for all the help. It also resembles a Remington Rolling block model 4 but not exactly, The side plate profile look good but the positioning of the screws and pins dont match up. I'll keep looking. JT
