I am looking for a set of Barnaby traps. Please e-mail to: bbgunssturgis at g mail dot com. Thanks, Bruce Bowen Sturgis SD
Bruce, You might want to use google. Try Barnabee, Ed's last name, and see what pops up. Ed passed away this past August and I don't know if someone took over the business or not. Flyersarebest
I know a place in KY that had a couple rings worth of them. They were trying to sell them the last time I talked to them.
I made up a ring of Barnabee style traps for a guy named Buddy on MD's eastern or could have been western shore many moons ago. Went Quail shooting with him on his farm....should have seen him shoot um when a covey of Quail flushed. Don't know if he's still alive though. Used an assortment of springs, relays from washing machines and a lot of time in a sheet metal shop fabricating the housings and doors that sprang open that had a piece of cordura nylon fabric that held the, well let's just say target. Oh Hell with political correctness...The pigeon. The control box took a lot of time, and no I did not use an electric coil device to put the bird in an upper state of awareness as it was flung out. But too busy making gun cases and really don't have the heavy sheet metal equipment to make um up again. Good luck in your search. If anybody knows if Buddy is still around, please let me know, he was a good friend of mine.
I remember one shoot I was so slow getting to the bird one of the guys suggested I have the coil hooked up to me instead of the trap
