Baikal 12 Ga. Double Trigger Hunting Model SOLD

This is a Baikal 12 Ga. Model IZH-27EM
2-3/4 chambers, 28-1/2" barrels choked MOD(bottom) FULL (top)

This is the basic model Baikal hunting shotgun with fixed chokes, double triggers, and extractors, imported by EAA Corp. It has a Pachmayr White Line pad, factory sling swivels, and a single Tru-Glow style front bar sight.

This gun looks like it was fired a few times and put away. Blue is 99% on the barrels, receiver, and forearm metal. Bores are mirror. Wood is in the same condition with nice grain and color, more than on my old MX8 fence post wood. No splits, cracks, scratches, gouges, not even a rub mark. That is why I believe this shotgun wasn't used for hunting. The only thing missing is the box and owners manual.

For the guys that want to know. The stock is neutral with no palm swell.

I know! This is not a target shotgun that could handle tens of thousands of rounds but for a hunting gun or a once in a while fun round of Trap this would work just fine.

This is a great starter gun. I bought one ten years ago and put about 30,000 rounds through it in two years without so much as a hiccup. Loved it so much, bought one in 20ga and one in 28ga. No problems with any of them. Mine have single triggers though, however, everything else is the same. I now use them only for hunting. I have friends that have Baikals passed from their grandfathers, to their fathers, to them and still hunt with them every weekend. It doesn't look amazing, but not terrible either and gets the job done. It was built to last as a hunting gun and as such it is a great one. Buy it and start shooting /hunting with it until you are willing to buy something nicer. Much better than Stoger, Huglu, or any Brazilian or Turkish made shotgun that looks better, but it's built like crap.

A guy at the range shoots a Baikal O/U. He shoots three rounds of skeet a week and has been doing so for years. 5 or 6 easy, maybe more, Wally World ammo, with no problems. Baikal has a reputation for reliability and this one looks pretty good too!
