34", 870, Duck/Goose barrel For Sale SOLD

34", Full, 2-3/4 chamber

First, let me give you the description of the alteration to this 34" barrel.

Between the Model 58 and the Model 1100 Remington came out with a gas semi
Model 878. The barrel choices were 28" MOD or 30 Full". BUT, you could drill the gas port hole in an 870 barrel and it would work. The owner I purchased the barrel from was a long time friend and did not own an 878 and I know he put this 34" barrel on one of the six or seven 870's he owned.

There is no problem using this barrel on an 870 since that was what it was designed for. There will probably will be some carbon deposits on the mag tube due to the hole in the barrel but that would be easily cleaned up after shooting. The Blue on the barrel is 95/97% or better with some light rub marks where forearm wood touched the barrel. There is a metal center bead installed. This is NOT a step rib barrel.
