Cardinal Center ... Missouri... or Sparta Where will the grand be?

We are looking at December soon. I am sure some shooters and vendors would like to know where the grand will be.

Sparta unless the virus is not under control by then..........if not, Linn Creek, MO.

 

Why not ask what is the weather going to be like in March.

 

Is the fix in for Missouri? Why? How many went there last year?

 

No trap shooter/gun owner should care about the possible location of 'the grand' If Biden?Harris are sworn in by the month of August no one may be shooting trap anywhere anyhow.

As a trap shooter we have all personally seen what a leadership (ATA EC) that says to hell with it's members gets you. A need to know only what is going on, they'll tell us what is important. The EC won't listen to us and they are supposed to be trap shooters.

Biden has promised massive taxes on guns on ammo, confiscation of semi autos, banning sale of magazines, so where the grand is or ain't isn't the thing we should be worried about. I hope most gun owners don't have their heads up their asses as far as a lot of trap shooters do.

Sometimes life is hard. I'd guess the 2 hole members of the ATA will just bend over and take it from the Democrats, that's what I would expect from those types.

 

The powers at the ATA will not let it come to the Cardinal. It would be a shame to see more shooters at the Cardinal than Sparta, that would mean they made a wrong move. The powers that be can never be proved wrong.

There is nothing else to do this time of year but speculate, i understand Black Magic’s thought process.

The State of Illinois anticipates the Corona Virus to keep control and restrictions in place until deep into 2021 based on everything they use to establish their time line (This is per the States Web site ) so that or any variation of it could be accurate and is subject the change ... There is a remote possibility that can change if one of the Pharm Corps come up with a viable vaccine that truly does work between now and then ... To this date and beyond it is only speculation at best so time will tell ... Illinois is one of the States that is having a spike in Corona Virus cases, that is not good ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

patch2, They have already been proven wrong about making the move to Sparta. The membership drop, the poor attendance, any fool can see they made a very poor decision by not listening to the members. They know it the members know it, but they will never admit their mistake. That was not the only mistakes made. Roger C.

 

The move to Sparta was anticipated as not being in the best interest of the ATA and the Membership of same, by the membership, this has been confirmed an a continual (annual) basis by the lack of attendance for 14 consecutive years ... The Corona Virus may just be a blessing in disguise if it gets the grand moved to another facility in another state ... Keep doing the same thing over and over, an expect a different out come probably ( usually) is not going to happen, 14 years has pretty much established what Sparta is going to produce in the way of attendance and would be considered as Pathetic at best ... Not that it really matters, but...............

According to the 2021 IDNR World Shooting and Recreation Complex Calendar of Events, The U.S. Open will take place at the facility from May 26 - May 30 and The Grand American will take place at the facility from August 4 - August 14, 2021.

Time to grease up those Minnie-Winnies.
