Be careful if you buy muller chokes. Be sure you get the lapping compound so you can lap the chokes in!!!!!!! Purchased 5 chokes for my k-20, only one would screw in all the way. To shorten the story they suggested using lapping compound to get the chokes to fit. Sent them back and suggested they put them were the s__ d______ s____.
Do a Google search for "Catastrophic failure muller choke" You are better off. Sure, lots of people use them and are happy, but the potential for catastrophe IS there.
You should post that in the "Report the Bastards" section so people can see what kind of crap they are selling ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
another great part of buying from Muller is their shipping guarantee or lack there of. The moment they hand them over to their shipper of choice, the chokes become your property, according to them. Should they become lost or damaged in shipping, it is your problem and they won't help. That's all I need to know about a Company to know I won't do business with them. Customer service is as important as the product.....
I shoot them for doubles in my K80. They're no better than any other choke, only that they are very light.
I am not a fan of Choke Tubes only because over the years I have witnessed to many failures and damage done to guns because of those failures ... It just seems to me like they are an accident waiting to happen, I feel the same way about ported barrels again after seeing several failures of different degrees ... Trap shooters love gimmicks and that is what I consider choke tubes and ported barrels to be ... That is my opinion and may not mean anything to anyone but me but that is the one who matters most when it comes to the Gimmicks ... To each their own but I'll take mine without all of the Magical stuff ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
