Well, This Is One Way To Up The Numbers - free ATA membership

    Just received an email from the ata. I can have a free membership for the 2020-2021 year. All I have to do is print out the coupon and go to at least one registered shoot. When I go to sign up I give them the coupon and my dues for the year are paid.

    Anyone else get that email yet?

    Knowing the ATA, they probably only sent the email to the Lifetime members.

    OK, before this turns into a roll call of who is a Life member and who isn't.

    I don't think the ata would offer a one year membership to anyone that has paid to be a LIFE TIME member. You guys already did that right?

    The point of my post was to let people know that apparently the ata has decided to try and get EX members "back in the fold" by offering to waive the fee. At first look not a bad PR idea really. Must have a new wiz kid in the office that came up with this idea.
    If they could get a few thousand to do it their "membership" numbers would look better and maybe, just maybe, some of the shooters would then pay the dues for a few more years.

    Until they realized that it ain't what it used to be and it isn't worth it that is.

    Just wanted to know if anyone else had received this "offer" yet.

    As soon as you tell me where and when we are going. Like getting the band back together huh?

    I don't think I'll be taking them up on their offer. I would rather spend the money in a casino.

    Got mine yesterday.

    Not a lifer, BUT, this must have been because I haven't been a member for a few years, and am now on the NEED TO KNOW BASIS, and they want me back. LOL
