I know some of you were just lurkers before. This is a site for big boy britches and big girl panties. If you are looking for a verbal battle, be prepared. Bunches of newbies joined in the last month. Great to have you. Don’t put up links. just joe
some body forgot to tell flyers to put on his big boy britches or big girl panties, which ever he prefers. Hes always sore.
Still jerked about me questioning your motives asking about the CC aren’t you? "flyers I know how to stir the pot. I just stir it sloppily, just gives you more to nit pick at. or in other words, waste your time replying to my comments on an internet chat forum. My original comment on here was meant just for you. I knew it would draw a response from you. You are too easy man. Stir the pot. tootle a loo." Now there is a perfect example of someone that needs big boy underwear. Keep taking swipes at me kid. I have all the time in the world to make you look foolish if you want to go down that road. BTW, If I had 500 targets LIFE TIME and was posting scores of 89 - 91 in 16's, 78 in doubles and was on the 20 I wouldn't be so quick to take a shot at someone that was shooting hard targets when you weren't even born yet. Just sayin....
hey man, I got more than 500, they just haven't been posted yet lol. I think you're my biggest fan. add me to your buddy/quick list so its easier to look me up.
You got the talking part done. I hope when they update all those targets you shot that the 16's average went up a little at least. So endith the lesson
slowly but surely. doubles will come with experience. only 150 pair under my belt ever. so endith my reply.
Dustin you should shoot as many doubles as you can afford too. They will help you with 16 yard shooting more than 16 yard practice will.
Mr. Dysinger just gave you some valuable advice. And, you'll find doubles to be a lot more fun and less monotonous than singles.
I think its a blast! 78 78 77 are my scores. I miss the first bird 10-11 times over 50 pair. Trying to jump on it too hard or need to try and frame it I guess.
I was told back when I started shooting doubles that it didn't matter if you missed a first bird or a second they both counted the same. Practice your holds for the first bird, less movement the better and go to the second target like a singles target with the gun going off on the first bird being your cue of pull and take your eyes to the second target and the gun will follow. Missing first birds when you start ain't necessarily a bad thing.
The 2nd. target in doubles is the hard one but most shooters only watch the first one 4 times. I try to watch the 2 nd one you are going to shoot at least twice on that post.
Mr. Terry Jordan, I like seeing your Wall Chart banner on AT.Com. Looks like the one I purchased from you many years ago. The chart that helped me finally get that AA-27AA certificate. Thank you so much for all your help. You were right when you told me the chart would help me become a better shooter. I doubted that a piece of vinyl with targets in the air above a picture of a trap house would help me. Thankfully, I was wrong. My best to you sir, HB
Shot 50 pair of practice at Harrison on sunday. First time using 1oz #8 on first shot, first time using light mod and imp mod, and added a mercury recoil reducer of Gene Roberts. FIrst targets were getting smashed with little effort and picked up 2nd target much quicker. Made much improvement. There was no score keeper so don't ask me what my scores were. lol
New member here. Just getting back into shooting after a 6 year break (life got really interesting for a while). Everyone be safe!!
Well I can say for sure I'm the #2 high score shooter where I shoot. Disclaimer: There are only two Trap shooters where I shoot and I have never ran into #1.
