A fall shoot at the Cardinal! Any thoughts?

 

This year’s Buckeye Open was rescheduled to September due to the virus. It is my understanding that if this time slot is well received by the shooters and vendors the Cardinal will look to add a shoot in September in coming years.

 

I hope they do add a fall shoot. Great time of year to be outside.

 

This is great news for the possibility of a fall shoot!

 

If I am remembering correctly the Cardinal Center had a September shoot that ended in 2018.

 

they did, it was a Labor day shoot. And I think it was the same time the Flag City Shoot used to be a Jaquas.

 

The Flag City shoot was always held the 3rd week of July and the last one was in 2014 I believe.

Jaqua’s used to have a very good Labor Day weekend shoot as well. It would have been tough on both clubs to try to compete for the same weekend. Not an issue any more with the closing of the trap club portion of Jaqua’s. I was in the new Jaqua’s gun store yesterday and it is so very nice!

Checking on the R.J. Stuart website shows the "Labor Day Invitational" at the Cardinal Center ran from 2016-18.
The shoot dates were from Friday, August 31 through Sunday, September 2, in 2018.

What is the vendor scene like for the buckeye compared to the cardinal?

 

The same vendors usually. This could end up being a big shoot. There is a lot of money that hasn’t been spent.
