The Honorable Governor signed the last budget, it was 6 Billion (B) dollars to the bad so they State obviously will be having to make adjustments as they go ... The WSRC is listed as a State Park and recreational area so they may be eligible for Federal relief ( not sure ) but without it the place will in all probability just sit there until it self destructs or they can get another Sugar Daddy to foot the bills .. The Weird looking little Mayor in Chicago pissing off the folks in Washington will probably not help them get any assistance .. The State should make it a homeless shelter (tent city) and let those folks enjoy it while it lasts, they can fish and catch their own dinner while they wait for placement in one of the housing projects or the big hotel down town ... Be a good time for the city of Sparta to get out those welcome signs to welcome its newest residents ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
I drove thru the complex 2 weeks ago and the grass was cut at that time. Facility is open for business, trap and Sporting Clays are being used. There is a new office for operations in the building formerly used by Jaqua's. I believe it is preferred you schedule ranges as the Covid 19 stuff has the governor scared to death (except if his family wants to go/do anything). I haven't fired a shot there since last year. In Illinois, who knows what the future holds on anything.
Just there yesterday. West Trap line Grass is mowed and fresh mulch was being put down around some of the rock piles. Usually the mowing crew is there on Monday and tuesdays. Didn’t see it tall.
