Anyone know if Brad Dysinger does clinics or lessons? I live in Ohio and am looking for some instruction. Understand he is/was a heck of a trapshooter.
Oh man, I'm not going to touch that "is/WAS" line. I'll bet Dave Berlet could have some fun with that one.
I’ve often thought that Brad should install one trap field where his old pigeon ring was. That way he could give private lessons right at his business/home. Couldn’t hurt to call and ask him if he would be willing to work with you. If you do take lessons from Brad be ready for brutal honesty! Brad never did sugarcoat anything when he was younger and he ain’t about to start it now. And yes, he is/was a very good shooter.
Nothing meant by the "is/was"...was under the impression he doesn't compete anymore. I am sure he is still top notch.
Give me a call at Thorn Bottom Hunting number, I leave clinics to others but I I have helped shooters one on one over the years. Sometimes if you are an experienced trap shooter just talking on the phone about a specific problem I can set you in the right direction. Phone calls are easy and cheap (free), clinics expensive . Call we'll talk.
I know, I was just having some fun with your wording. With the easier targets I don't doubt Mr. Dysinger could compete on a top level, even at his age.
In fact he may have even been a legend in his own mind. LOL As I have stated on here different times he very probably was the best bad weather 27yd shooter to shoot our game. If he would be willing he would be a very good instructor. Dave Berlet
A very unique shooter (and person). Many of us old shooters who knew Brad could tell some pretty good unbelievable stores about Brad. Dave, remember the day we shot with Brad at Jaqua's and he broke a 100 straight from the 27 yard line. The best part of that event was he shot four different brand/boxes of shells. They were all 3DR 7.5's. You should of heard the stories about how some boxes broke the targets better etc.
I told him about 20 years ago to put a trap in and give lessons he would have been very busy for years. He helped me a lot years ago. I gave him some dog training advice back then and he gave me lots of great trap info and put me in some great squads with him and Dave B. He should write a book.
Well if I was as rich as you and had it all figured out I wouldn’t share my knowledge either. If I recall at one time you thought you would never miss again......
Hey I did go to a Frank Hoppe clinic and never missed a target at the clinic. We only shot 200-250 targets and I wouldn't shoot any more handicap after I hit 75 straight.
