Well that could explain it.

Taking a “nip” from a pint bottle just before you start to shoot might be the reason he was a little touchy a while back.

 

Noticed he did not shoot all events. Maybe just the 400 All Around?

 

I think/hope, that is one of those smoke box, electric cigarette things and not alcohol, on the line.

He was smoking the singles harder than that e-cigarette. He picks up the target as fast as anyone. They were happy to pause for a squad photo seen on another thread.

It looks to me like Dave is listening to music. I see a cord running down Dave's back to the player.

 

I see Dave is shooting a top single. Good for him.

 

My husband and I watched Dave Smash 100 singles and 100 from the back fence at a registered shoot at Mt. Airy gun club back in August. He said music helps his concentration.

 

I remember back in the day, there was a subluminal tape you could listen too, that supposedly made you a better shot!
I proved them wrong.
